If you are visiting virtually but have never visited Paint Branch UU Church in person, we invite you to join us this Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for spirited worship, ready companionship, and religious explorations of many kinds and for all ages (infants to elders), in a free search for the meaning of our unfolding lives.
Unitarian Universalism is a living tradition, it evolves with the times. We are people of all ages, many backgrounds, and many beliefs. We create spirituality and community by working for more justice and more love in our own lives and in the world. Our congregation embraces people who have experienced a variety of religious journeys, and we do so without judgement or condemnation. We do this by living our historic Unitarian Universalist values: affirmation of diversity, freedom of conscience, and the use of reason.
Nurture your spirit and join us in doing the work of love and justice in our world.
We hope to see you soon!
This Sunday, February 2, 2020
Guest Speaker Beth Charbonneau, with Worship Associate Elizabeth Porter
An exploration of the sacred relationship with our own bodies and the spiritual implications when we are not in right relationship with them.
Children and youth begin in the Meeting House with their families every Sunday.
Together Time brings our whole congregation together for worship for the first fifteen minutes of service every Sunday. During this time, there is opening music, the welcome, chalice lighting, a hymn and a story, song, movement or meditation for all ages. Children are then sung to the RE classes in the RE Building. On some Sundays, there is a special shared Children's Worship in the RE building, which takes the place of the regular RE classes. Youth remain in the service and then meet in the Youth Room afterwards.
Nursery care is provided in Room 5 from 9:45 to 12:45 am on Sundays.
